Dear Holland,
On behalf of our medical mission team from Roswell United Methodist Church, our missionaries in Peru, Arthur and Mary Alice Ivey, Billie and Laurie Drum, and Genaro Puente, and the many people in Puerto Bermudez Peru, who received glasses from our team, we say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Thanks to the use of your fine equipment and the inventory of 1920 pair of prescription glasses, we tested 253 Peruvians in 3 ½ days, gave 128 pair of prescription glasses and 25 readers. In addition we showed Jesus to many from this Amazonia Jungle area in Peru.
We are also very appreciative for the training you gave three of our missionaries in Kentucky last year, as well as the webinar several of us attended, and the training information you sent in July for all our optical workers to review. With this excellent training, our five missionaries serving in optical, were able to operate all your equipment and function in a professional manner.
Thanks so much for your making this optical part of our medical mission possible. Without your personal help and pricing considerations, we could not have done HIS great work in Peru!
Sincerely,
John Pearson, Team Leader
Puerto Bermudez Peru Medical Mission Team
