Dominican Republic #3, 2023
Here are some pictures from our more recent trip. We did and eye glass clinic combined with a medical clinic.
It was a very successful trip.
My husband and I have utilized your equipment and glasses for numerous mission trips. Our mission trips to the Dominican Republic are in conjunction with a medical clinic. I love being able to bring new people on these mission trips. This equipment have provided us having tangible that can make such a big difference in peoples lives. Helping people gain/regain their ability to read, sew, walk, drive, and even relieve people of headaches! Since there is minimal training for the support team, it is so easy to integrate new people who may have thought there was no way they could go on a medical mission trip and be helpful.
This is from one of our team members:
“It was amazing to be able to witness people putting the eyeglasses on and listening and watching their reactions to what a difference it made for them to be able to see clearly, some for the first time in their life. One person said “Wow!” as soon as they put the glasses on and could see clearly. Other people didn’t say anything, but you could tell by how their face lit up when they put the glasses on. Everyone was very thankful for the glasses and the ability to see better than they have before. What a blessing to be able to witness the process and enable people to have something as simple as a pair of eyeglasses that changes their life in such a significant way! Thank you Kendall for your generosity and love for others!”
