Madagascar #2, 2018
The autorefractor for the system was provided by Dr Any Hawari from his partner who had passed away.
Here is a testimonial from the team leader:

Subject: Madagascar Trip ...
Hi,
I wanted to say "Thanks" for your help making the trip Madagascar so successful. I think the training went very well and as I said Milly and the others with him will be able to keep things going. Milly has already started with some outreach work to test eyes of the Malagasy people and provide them with glasses. I am hoping that he will be able to work with other people and groups that visit to Madagascar to replace and increase his supply of glasses. I could see as the days went by how Milly and the others were understanding how to use both the autorefractor and software successfully. Their confidence and accuracy was always increasing.Milly wants to be able to use the eyeglass ministry to expand the reach of his church and to connect with other groups of people in an ecumenical way to help the people of Madagascar. The autorefractor is being put to good use and Milly will do his best to make sure the ministry is
successful.
Holland provided his usual excellent advice and help to make sure everyone understands how his system works. The system just requires some hands on usage to make it clear how all the parts work together to provide the connection between scanning the eyes and finding the closest glasses that can help. And Milly was seeing how these parts work together. I was surprised at how much I remembered from using the system in the past and how much more I learned this time.
Here are few more photos of the clinic and people with their glasses.
Thanks again for all the help.
Mark
