It was a great success. Our church was very pleased with the success of our first Vision Clinic in Haiti. We saw over 100 patients per day and gave out hundreds of glasses. Being able to get the autorefractor and equipment kits from you made it possible for a mostly novice team to go to a 3rd world country and give the gift of sight. It is a relatively easy system to use with powerful results of so many smiling faces and lives changed with such a simple thing as a pair of glasses. We spoke with doctors in Haiti who told us that an Optometrist is considered a specialist so costs like $300 to see them and get glasses. The average annual income in Haiti is about $1200 so getting glasses is very cost prohibitive. We plan to go back again next year.
Thank you Holland,
