Hi Holland -
Thanks for the message. To say that the eye clinic was a success would be an understatement. Thank you for your important ministry! The eye clinic system proved to be life changing for many people in Mariveles, Philippines.
Here is a blog article written by one of our team members specifically on the eye clinic:

Attached are some pictures with commentary regarding the medical portion. But I would like to also note that, more importantly, the eye clinic gave me the opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people of Mariveles throughout the week.
As mentioned, this group was made up of believers and non-believers. Despite that, our team prayed each morning before the start of clinic that the work of our hands may give glory to God and that He would bless our work. We held a full clinic for 6 days. One day we did eye exams for 14 hours straight!
We were assigned four 3rd year nursing students from the local college. They helped us with interpreting and fitting glasses all week. One of the students, Leo, and I got into a conversation about Jesus and the Bible. He only had an OT at home. I happened to have a NT in my backpack that I have been carrying around for about a year waiting for someone to give it to. On our third day, I gave it to him and asked if he would commit to reading a portion of it, starting with John, everyday along with praying to God. Each day after that we talked about what he read that morning and the importance of repenting of sin and putting his faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. After I got home, I got an email from Leo confirming his decision to put his faith in Jesus.
This is one example of the miracles that took place during our time in Mariveles. I ask that you keep these nurses in your prayers as well - Leo, Angela, Hazel, Nayvs, Juhn and Tia. May they all put their faith and trust in the Lord!
Thanks and God bless!
Jeff
