One of those elderly men was seen riding a </div> <div> bicycle through the village proudly wearing his glasses.   </div> <div>     Leaving Pacux we traveled back to Guatemala City where we setup an eyeglass clinic in the </div> <div> dump area.  Our team was allow to use a renovated building for child care and medical </div> <div> assistance.  We also had help from some area missionaries and on the third and last day of the </div> <div> clinic we were able to see 100 people.  Again every person's vision that could be improved with </div> <div> eyeglass, left seeing better.  All were very appreciative of better vision, including the local </div> <div> missionaries whose vision we also helped.  They were also surprised by the inventory of glasses </div> <div> and the optical equipment.  They were under the impression we were only going to pass out </div> <div> reading glasses.  Our team was able to reach out to around 350 people and give out around 280 </div> <div> prescription glasses and many reading glasses.   Prayer and preparation are most important for </div> <div> any mission trip but the training, speed and accuracy of the Holland Kendall Optical Ministry </div> <div> system made having a successful eyeglass clinic very possible. </div> </td> </tr></table></body>
