Holland,
Here are some of our clinic pictures from Kenya. Febish is an interpreter who worked hard to learn to
use the autorefractor. Heavy Duty Crew is an impromptu meeting of the local pastors who organized
our clinic in Kenya and invited and hosted us. My Optical Office is where I stood to interview and eye
test 400 patients. Most of the other pictures are of people waiting to visit our clinics. The pastors
organized the two big white tents as a shaded waiting room to keep people from mobbing the clinic,
and they took turns preaching to the people as they waited. The small building was built by the local
church to house our clinics, and as a community building.
What a wonderful experience this was. I’d love to go again.
